BIZZLEJIG’S ROSE RELEASE
Last December 6, 2003, filming commenced on Bizzlejig Films’ low-budget horror film entitled Rose. The film’s script was written by L. A. Brooks. Brooks is also directing the project with M. Mitchell producing, and the cast is made up entirely of talent from the Las Vegas area.
So whats its all about? The story follows a group of high school friends who killed two of their classmates on prom night and covered it up. Ten years later, they start getting stalked and killed off one by one. But who is exacting this revenge?
Rose stars up and coming actors including Sandra Winogrocki, Luke Jones, Sarah Ball, Ash Dauenhauer, Danny Countess, Matt Thomsen and Buddy Barnett all of whom bring their considerable talent to this dark and disturbing film.
Director and writer L. A. Brooks has honed his skills over the years by making short films and videos that run the gamut from children’s films to dark drama. His short film ‘Hole’ can still be viewed online at www.ifilm.com and has played at the Sidewalk Moving Pictures Festival in Birmingham, AL, and the Scheissenhooven Film Festival in Las Vegas, NV. Rose marks Brooks’s first foray into the horror genre.
