BEST NEWS FOR WORST CASE SCENARIO
We first told you here about an ambitious zombie film called WORST CASE SCENARIO that has been brewing over in Holland. Now the Gorehound Canned Film team behind the project has released the good news that the necessary money is falling into place. U.S. producer Jack F. Murphy and producer/sales agent Lars Bjorck of L.B. Films are teaming to finance and co-produce the story a group of friends fleeing the literal war that erupts between Dutch and German soccer teams, only to come face-to-decomposing-face with aquatic Nazi ghouls. The movie will be directed by Richard Raaphorst and produced by scripter Bart Oosterhoorn; the former is a prot of Brian Yuzna, who is presenting WORST CASE and previously collaborated with Murphy on PROGENY and TICKS. Production is scheduled to begin on the 35mm English-language film in October, with a mostly American and British cast and a spring 2005 release planned.
