THE ROCK TALKS DOOM
The Rock was in Australia last week promoting ‘Walking Tall’ and told a couple of reporters about what’s being planned for the game-to-film flick ‘Doom’.
Talking to The Herald Sun today, Dwayne talked about what his hopes for the film are.
‘There is a movie coming up based on Doom. It’s very early in the works. It’s a science fiction thriller. If you do sci-fi, I say go rated R – make no apologies and go for the scare’.
Funnily enough, when Warner Bros had the rights to the film (it’s now at Universal), they wanted to make it a PG-13 feature.
‘Doom’, will apparently be based on the third game in the series, which focuses on a vastly outnumbered hero fights off the forces of hell as they come from the portal onto a deserted paramilitary base on Mars, where a scientific experiment hasn’t gone according to plan.
