MCGEE & ROMERO’S SLOPPY ZOMBIES
Creature Corner reports:
‘The goriest game ever made.’ That’s the tagline to a proposed video game George Romero and Alice’s American McGee are pitching to publishers at the moment, and about two weeks ago – when this news hit the web – it was one of the many elements that got horror fans all weak at the knees. What was really juicy was some of the conceptual art for the game, entitled City of the Dead, that had appeared over at American McGee’s website.
Over there you’ll find illustrations of City’s survivors and the mass annihilation of walking corpses. In short, good stuff. I’d finally fork over the dough for a game system if City ever gets made.
Last Friday, McGee updated his site with even more pics of zombies, this time designed by Mercury Stream artist Juan Antonio Alcazar. What you see above is only a small sample of some of the gut munchin’ that’s takin’ place over at McGee’s place, so click here and check out the rest!’
