According to The Hollywood Reporter, Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, who previously collaborated on FROM DUSK TILL DAWN, are getting back together and back into the horror genre for a project called GRIND HOUSE for the new Weinstein Co. The movie will be a throwback to 42nd Street-style double bills of the past: The filmmakers will each contribute an hour-long fright flick, with trailers and additional bonus material from other filmmakers placed in between to complete the 'grindhouse' experience. Tarantino has said that this could be the first of a series. No details were announced as to the content of the movies, but they'd better make a decision fast; the Weinsteins are already targeting a spring 2006 release date.
