Though he walked away from the franchise several years ago, Wes Craven told IGN FilmForce that he’s not ruling out a reunion with Freddy Krueger.

Craven’s last teaming with the Christmas-jumper wearing freak was “Wes Craven’s New Nightmare”, which although winning high praise, did nothing at the box office.
Rumour has it that the next “Elm Street” film will again be a two-hander with “Friday the 13th” villain Jason, though there are whispers of an “Elm Street” prequel.
