Tom Savini dropped Fango a line from his recent projects, all of which he appears particularly excited about. First up is SEA OF DUST, the New York-lensed horror flick, in which he co-stars with Ingrid (COUNTESS DRACULA) Pitt.
“They are trying to recapture the look of the old Hammer Films,” Savini says of SEA OF DUST. “I have done a lot of crappy low-budget movies in the last few years, like VICIOUS, but I’m really proud of SEA OF DUST.”
Next is Hip Interactive’s upcoming video game, George A. Romero Presents CITY OF THE DEAD, which features Savini’s likeness and voiceover work. “I play Red McLean, the star and hero of the game,” Savini says of CITY, due early next year. “Originally, they said it would not be like George’s DEAD films, but his influence is all over this game. My character is a survivalist/ex-military guy. There are four POV characters that the player can become.”
