Dread Central scooper Kong pointed out two things that have shown up over on The Hollywood Stock Exchange, one of them good, the other potentially bad.
The good is the confirmation, at least from their side, that the Pang Bros. American debut is, indeed, now titled The Messengers, as we reported here. Of course, the Exchange might just be working from the info we posted in that story, but hopefully they’re going by word from the studio. Apparently it’s set for release on August 18th, 2006, by the way.
On the bad side, it seems Dimension has removed Curandero, which was originally slated for some kind of release today, from their lineup altogether. Curandero, you may recall, was written by Robert Rodriguez and helmed by Eduardo Rodriguez, and deals with black magic in Mexico. Since the HSX only has the titles listed with nary an explanation, it’s probably going to be a while before we find out what happened to the film. Stick here for the latest!
