Jacobs wrote, directed and produced Warner Bros.’ “Criminal,” based on the Argentinian film “Nine Queens,” directed by Fabian Bielinsky. He was first assistant director on Section Eight’s “Ocean’s Eleven” and “Traffic.”
Section Eight produced the recently released “Good Night, and Good Luck,” the political biopic about CBS newsman Edward R. Murrow starring and directed by Clooney. Shingle also produced Warner Bros.’ “Syriana,” about the CIA’s war on terrorism, starring Clooney and Matt Damon.
