We first told you about a new indie horror film called DRILLER, based on the same-titled graphic novel. Now writer/director Jason Kartalian has given Fango the heads-up that a trailer with plenty of gruesome highlights has been posted over at the official website. Shot on hi-def, the movie stars Tanya (WITCHOUSE 3) Dempsey as one of a group of youths terrorized by a hideously ugly killer wielding a giant power drill; abduction-happy aliens are also involved. “I think this will be the feel-good drilling and killing movie of the year,” Kartalian says on the site, which also includes production info and more photos. The movie is scheduled for completion in March, and the graphic novel (with art by storyboard artist Brad Arnold) will be out soon.
