Variety reports that Oded Fehr has signed to co-star in RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION, the third film in the video game-based franchise, reprising his role from the previous RESIDENT EVIL: APOCALYPSE. Also back from that film are Sienna Guillory, Mike Epps, Iain (DARKNESS) Glen and, of course, series star Milla Jovovich. Russell Mulcahy directs this latest installment, which, like the other EVILs, was scripted by Paul W.S. Anderson and is produced by Anderson and his Impact Pictures partner Jeremy Bolt, along with Constantin Film’s Robert Kulzer. EXTINCTION, presumably to be released by Screen Gems, rolls next month in Mexico; Fehr first came to filmgoers’ attention as Ardeth Bay in the MUMMY films.
