We broke the news here about a week ago that Dark Castle Films is moving forward with Return to House on Haunted Hill, a direct sequel to the remake from 1999. Although the details are slim, we announced that Victor Garcia, who directed the award winning short film ‘El Ciclo’, would be helming the remake, which begins shooting in Bulgaria in late August.
Yesterday on the set of Resident Evil: Extinction in Mexico City, B-D had the pleasure of talking with star Ali Larter who told them she had heard about the sequel. Read on to see what she had to say…
While interviewing Ali Larter, who stars as Claire in the third Resident Evil film, she told B-D that she was very aware of the coming Haunted Hill sequel.
When asked if she’d consider doing it she hesitated for a second and exclaimed, “…I don’t think so [laughs]. I feel so lucky with the things I am doing right now, and that’s so long ago for me.”
In the 1999 film Larter played Sara Wolfe, in a film that followed a millionaire whom offers a group of diverse people $1,000,000 to spend the night in a haunted house with a horrifying past.
