It’s been a long time comin’, eh? The third season of PROJECT GREENLIGHT, during which television viewers witnessed John Gulager cutting his teeth on his first horror feature, feels like a lifetime ago. Well, the fruits of Gulager and co.’s hard labor are about to splash us in the face like a sloppy bucket o’ guts come September, when FEAST rolls into the late-night screening circuit on the 22nd and 23rd, with a subsequent unrated DVD release October 17.
Courtesy of those fine fiends at Dimension Films, Maloof Motion Pictures and LivePlanet, Fango is proud to exclusively debut the official trailer for the film. Sure, a few early “leaked” looks at the film have circulated on the Net over the last year, but my oh my, you ain’t seen nothing like this. So put on your slickers, grab an umbrella and click here, ’cause this one gets real wet real fast.
A quick side note: For those who have caught early screenings of the film, you may notice from the get-go that there’s a slightly new plot angle to the film’s familiar strangers-in-a-bar-vs.-mystery-monsters storyline. This appears to be the result of those five days of additional shooting Gulager was granted earlier this year.
Keep an eye out for major coverage of FEAST within the pages of Fango #257 next month!
