Fango got the word from director/co-writer Jason Stephens that he’s in the midst of preproduction on NECROSIS, a horror feature that’ll shoot in late January.
Set in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the script by Stephens and Robert Michael Ryan (who will also co-star) focuses on a group of friends vacationing at a remote cabin who get snowed in by a blizzard. The storm also awakens the spirits of the Donner Party, who in 1846 become stranded in the area and resorted to cannibalism to stay alive, and their influence begins driving the pals to madness.
’80s pop star Tiffany has recently been added to the cast, and she’s not alone now; also appearing are James Kyson (HEROES) Lee, George (NIGHT SKIES) Stults, Mickey Jones and Danielle De Luca.
You can check out more of ’em, and further information on NECROSIS, at the project’s official website.
