On Friday Mr Disgusting was good enough to share a phone call with Final Destination 4 producer Craig Perry. Just to get a solid confirmation of a rumour that’s been floating around.
Final Destination producer Craig Perry has confirmed that like the previous movies FD4 will be kicking off with a typical ‘big’ disaster to get the movie rolling. And this time New Line Cinema’s HD 3-D sequel will in fact be during a high-speed race car crash where an object will fly into the stands killing (or just missing) some of the audience members!
Yes that’s right, this flick is being filmed in high-definition 3-D! And it’s the same system that James Cameron is currently using on his prep of his latest movie Avatar. And they’ll be using it sparingly as he explains. “Having something pop out at the audience every four minutes gets boring,” He wants to use the 3-D to add depth and drama to the film.
Casting is currently underway for a March shoot in New Orleans.
