Fango managed to score a peek at the new exclusive trailer from Ivan Zuccon’s ‘Colour from the Dark’. And not to mention a fresh batch of exclusive stills too.
You can check out the trailer over at Fango’s site here. And don’t forget to check out the images below. The new preview of the adaptation of the H.P. Lovecraft story “The Colour Out of Space” is shorter and eerier than the first one released, and the filmmaker explains to Fango, “I feel some pressure from the Lovecraft fans, because they don’t want us to transform the author’s tale into a slasher movie. I’m not interested in slasher films; this is a truly atmospheric and Lovecraftian feature. Of course there’s tension, a bit of action and many, many scare scenes, but all with great respect for the original story.”
The production was apparently haunted by its own unique specter, co-star Debbie Rochon explains: “We were shooting in an old farmhouse where we had to deal with the antics of a ghost we named ‘Trevor.’ He was the type of spirit that wanted a lot of attention, and when he wasn’t getting it, he would do things like break a perfectly good, brand new HD camera to get back at us. I have known some actors like that, but never a ghost! We got through the shoot, though, and since then Ivan has had problems with his editing systems—which were also all new.”
The original May premiere date has been postponed to October in New York City.
