Hot Russian director, Timur Bekmambetov, known for his hugely successful ‘Night Watch’ vampire movies will be taking on more vampire related antics in Universal’s upcoming ‘The Knights Templar’.
Bekmambetov will be co-producing with Universal Pictures this new project that mixes the vampiric folklore with the holy grail mythology.
The script was penned by screenwriters Adam Torchia and Justin Stanley. Marc Platt will be producing through his Marc Platt Productions, while Bekmambetov will shepherd the project through his Bazelevs Productions, with Jim Lemley.
