I for one didn’t mind ‘Resident Evil: Afterlife’. It got a lot of stick but was still pretty fun. I didn’t watch it in 3D to be fair and I’m starting to think a lot of effects heavy films can be enjoyed much more without it. Mixing a lot of hi-def detailed effects with 3D makes you feel frickin’ queasy a lot of the time and not much of a thrilling experience. News has come in that Screen Gems are ramping up in preparation for ‘Resident Evil 5’ the next installment in the long-living video game to feature franchise. No director, script, cast or other details expect the release date will be 14 September 2012, so someone better get cracking! Hopefully Milla Jovovich (below) will return as her kick-ass action persona Alice.
More info as and when we get it.
