Brazilian director Heitor Dhalia is behind the camera, whilst the likes of ‘Red Riding Hood’ star Amanda Seyfried (below), Emily Wickersham, Wes Bentley (‘American Beauty’), Erin Carufel, ‘Dexter’s Jennifer Carpenter, Sebastian Stan and Socratis Otto are all on screen in new thriller ‘Gone’, from scribe Allison Burnett ‘Untraceable’. And now Lakeshore Entertainment have named the 24 February 2012 as the official release date for the serial killer based project.
“‘Gone’ revolves around a young woman named Jill (Seyfried) who returns home from her night shift to find her sister’s bed empty. She’s convinced the serial killer who kidnapped her two years before has come back to finish the job. But the police do not believe Jill, who knows time is running out. With no one to turn to, she sets off to find her sister and face her abductor once and for all.”
