Metro have been chatting with ‘X-Men: First Class’ star Michael Fassbender. But not just about the his starring role as a young Magneto in the new superhero prequel but also his role on Ridley Scott’s ‘Prometheus’. The sci-fi flick, currently in production, see’s Fassbender entering into what is believed to be Ridley’s ‘Alien’-related universe. And once again it appears still that it’s definitely not a sequel, definitely not a prequel but will be connected to the ‘Alien’ story somehow. “Threads that connect the stories” seems to be the line Mikey is taking here. Check out his full (yet brief) response below. Fassbender alongside Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace, Idris Alba (‘The Losers’), Logan Marshall-Green, Rafe Spall (‘Shuan of the Dead’), Katie Dickie, Sean Harris and Guy Pearce!
Here’s Fassbender’s response to the ‘is it a prequel’ question:
“Hmm, shall I cause controversy? Um, no. The thing is, it’s not a prequel. It definitely is separate. It is a separate story, but there are threads that connect the stories.”
