Yeeee-ha it’s Thanksgiving in the US today and we’ll do our best to pay tribute to our American cousins in subtle nods placed strategically throughout todays news clippings. First off its a new teaser trailer for Finn-Erik Rognan and Nils J. Ness’ new Norwegian horror flick ‘Dunderland’. You can check out the new trailer below these utterly sanctimonious statements which ultimately have no value or worth but hopefully keep you entertained for mere seconds in your hapless lives. ‘Dunderland’ stars Miriam Prestøy Lie, Reidar Sørensen, Sven Henriksen, Hanne-Marte Sørlie, Brage Bang, Marit Østbye, Nils Utsi, Ingar Helge Gimle, Kai Ole Taule and Kaia Fransiska Lundenes (yes, we have no idea who they are either). The movie will hit theatres across its native homeland from 6 January 2012. The trailer itself is pretty creepy and utilises the sound of a tightening rope quite effectively I musy say!
“1695. A young maiden by the name Johanne Nilsdotter is accused of witchcraft. Her persecutors end her life in the bottomless pits of the Djupkista waters in the Dunderland valley. In the years to follow, numerous horrendous events and tragedies strike the valley. 2011. The young, aspiring theatre director Laura arrives in the Dunderland valley. Together with an ensamble of Norway’s premier actors, she will put on a play at an old, abandoned Boy Scout camp. They are soon made aware of the Dunderland valleys dark and bloody history. Then the star actor disappears.”
