What did they see? Enquires the new one-sheet for Hammer’s ‘The Woman in Black’. The new poster features blue-eyed star Daniel Radcliffe (‘Harry Potter’) along with a smorgasbord of various disturing images which are effectively bits and bobs taken from past stills and posters. The adaption from writer Jane Goldman (‘Kick-Ass’, ‘X-Men: First Class’) is based on the novel by Susan Hill, which was turned into a stage play that has been playing these past 23 years in London’s West End. ‘The Woman in Black’ also stars Ciaran Hinds, Janet McTeer, Liz White, Alisa Khazanova, Tim McMullan, Roger Allam, Daniel Cerqueira, Shaun Dooley, Mary Stockley, Cathy Sara, David Burke, Victor McGuire and Lucy May Barker. Check out the new international poster below.

“The Woman in Black follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote corner of the UK and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in an old and isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover its tragic secrets, and his unease grows when he discovers that the local village is held hostage by the ghost of a scorned woman set on vengeance.”
‘The Woman in Black’ arrives in US theatres on 3 February 2012 and will pop into UK theatres from 10 February. Hardly seems fair.
