I’m particularly excited about season 2 of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s ‘American Horror Story’. It was a refreshing horror show that managed to throw twists and turns at you every week and more importantly kept you interested. As previously announced Jessica Lange will be re-joining the cast for the second season and all returning players are set to play new characters as the action and an entirely different storyline shifts to an East Coast institution. And now ‘Star Trek’ and ‘Heroes’ star Zachary Quinto is also due to return to the new series to play a nemesis to Lange’s new character. In addition co-creators Murphy and Falchuk appeared this weekend at PaleyFest and announced that actors Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe would also be returning for the new series due this October. Paulson, Peters and Rabe portrayed Billie Dean, Tate Langdon and Nora respectively but no word currently on their new roles.
