Catherine Hardwicke's new erotic thriller 'Plush' appears to have been going through some changes recently. Variety have revealed a new synopsis for the movie which seems to completely switched about what we understood the concept of the project was originally going to be. Hardwicke ('Red Riding Hood', 'Twilight') co-penned the script with Artie Nelson and initially when we reported on the flick it was set to be a psychological and sexually tense thriller but has now turned in to something completely different. Evan Rachel Wood ('Thirteen') was set to star and even a teaser poster had been revealed but it's 'Sucker Punch' star Emily Browning (below) who is now being circled for a role in the new-look setup. According to the exclusive report from Variety the flick was looking for buyers at Cannes and now the story "follows a psychic psychologist who delves into the minds of patients and sees their memories in order to help them unleash past demons. He meets his match in Browning's teen, who shares his gift."

Here's the originally released plot details which look to have been completely shelved:

"After losing her band mate and brother to a drug overdose, rising rock star Hayley (Evan Rachel Wood) finds herself in a downward spiral. The second album from her band Plush is received as a critical and commercial disaster. She finds new hope and friendship in Enzo, the replacement guitarist who inspires her to reach new creative heights. But soon their collaboration crosses the line sexually and Hayley, who is married with two children, retreats from Enzo’s advances. As Hayley slowly discovers Enzo’s dark and troubled history, she realizes she may have let a madman into her home and family and that her mistake may cost the lives of people closest to her."
