Yahoo Movies have revealed the first new theatrical trailer from the hotly anticipated and long-awaited sequel to Christophe Gans' 2006 'Silent Hill'. The Michael J. Bassett helmed sequel 'Silent Hill: Revelation 3D' arrives this October after a 6 year gap and the follow-up is expected to be just as visually unnerving as its predecessor. Adelaide Clemens ('No One Lives') leads the way in the next installment and plays the role of Heather Mason. Clemens will be joined by a few familiar faces in the form of Radha Mitchell ('Pitch Black'), Sean Bean ('Black Death') and Deborah Kara Unger ('White Noise') who all return for more twisted visions in the nightmarish world of 'Silent Hill'. Kit Harington ('Game of Thrones'), Carrie-Anne Moss ('The Matrix'), Malcolm McDowell ('A Clockwork Orange') and supermodel Heather Marks (below) all co-star.
"For years, Heather Mason (Adelaide Clemens) and her father (Sean Bean) have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn't fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she's not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever."
'Silent Hill: Revelation 3D' hits US theatres on 26 October and will arrive here in the UK on 31 October.
