‘Drive’ star Ryan Gosling is hard at work on the preparation of his new sci-fi feature project ‘How to Catch a Monster’. And it quickly became apparent that ‘Drive’ co-star and ‘Mad Men’ hottie Christina Hendricks was at the top of Gosling’s list for the lead female role in the new movie that he would both write and direct. Hendricks (below) has been chatting with Vulture.com about the project and more specifically her role and how it came about. According the actress Gosling got in touch with her a few months back. “He sent the script over in this cool box with an interesting little key, and cool artwork in it,” recalls Hendricks. “It was like the full package! And then I read the script and was in love with it, so I called him back and said, ‘Yeah, please.'” Hendricks will play a single mother who works in a fetish club.
