When we last checked our rear view ‘Jurassic Park 4’ was roaring up behind us and was finally heading for an expected 2014 release date. And now its official as Universal Pictures aims to plonk the long awaited follow-up full to the brim with overgrown ravenous lizards on 13 June 2014. It’s been 11 years since ‘Jurassic Park III’ and following the success of the recent re-release of the original ‘Jurassic Park’ into theatres, albeit in 3D format, there certainly still appears to be an appetite for it. Steven Spielberg will return to produce with a director still yet to be confirmed. The fourth installment will be shot in 3D and will no doubt have geeks everywhere speculating on the proposed plot.
Most would probably agree that it is about time for a new Jurassic Park movie to add to the quite popular saga that began with the first Jurassic Park film back in 1993. While the special effects in the first Jurassic Park were truly amazing for the time, now they would most likely appear foolish compared to the special effects used in most contemporary films.
If we were discussing www.partycasino.com, I’d be able to tell you exactly where my money was going, but last night’s Golden Globe awards tossed up so many wildcards, I wouldn’t know who to bet on. To exemplify this fact, Spielberg missed out on a Golden Globe last night for his new biopic ‘Lincoln’ to Ben Affleck’s directorial effort ‘Argo’.
Although, Spielberg may find redemption for his missed Golden Globe opportunity in this new Jurassic Park movie. Dinosaurs mixed with contemporary special effects—can you say jaw-dropping?
