With Grimmfest 2013, Northern England’s most important and influential genre film festival, less than one month away, those dastardly organisers have finally stopped tantalising and teasing us and have revealed the two surprise titles that will be included in the five day horrorfest!
Alongside films already announced such as the brooding, intensely beautiful Kiss Of The Damned and the eagerly anticipated northern premiere of Jugface now come two exciting additions to the festival. The Curse Of Chucky starring father and daughter Brad and Fiona Dourif, featured together for the first time, is included in the preview night at Stockport Plaza on Wednesday 2nd October. This latest addition to the Chucky series is certain to please existing fans and is set to entice new followers to this infamous and legendary franchise. The second inclusion which is bound to attract enormous interest is The Conspiracy which is screening on Saturday 5th October at The Dancehouse in Manchester. This new film looks certain to prove that there is still life, and death, in the found footage sub-genre and will certainly be one of the key films of the weekend.
Running over five days from Wednesday 2nd October until Sunday 6th October Grimmfest 2013 will undoubtedly be the biggest and best edition yet with more than 30 films being shown and many exclusive events included. For more information and to purchase tickets visit www.grimmfest.com
