ROSE IS DEAD SERIOUS
A group of terrorists led by a religious fanatic lay siege to a New York City bar with a motivation that prompts the undead to rise.
Such is the premise of the indie vampire horror/comedy Dead Serious, the latest production from Moodude Films and McGuffin Filmworks. With Sleepaway Camp’s Felissa Rose and Biohazardous’s Tom Cahill starring, cameras roll on Serious this May. Anthony Pepe, who recently lent FX to Jeff Lieberman’s Satan’s Little Helper, will be providing similar duties here. Joe Sullivan directs.
Here’s the full plot skinny direct from Moodude:
A religious zealot and his terrorist cult take over a gay bar in New York City. Their plan is to remove the scourge of homosexuality from the planet. But little do they realize that when the natural order is tampered with, the wrath of the undead is awakened. Now a group of unlikely heroes must fight to survive the night and save the city.
