THE FINAL CUT IMAGES
With the summer season of movie blockbusters underway, there’s little thought given to films set for release when the warm weather is slipping away. One such new movie is THE FINAL CUT, a science fiction thriller that stars Robin Williams, James Caviezel and Mira Sorvino. Set in the near future, Williams’ character (Alan Hackman) is known as a ‘cutter’, an individual that takes memories that have been recorded on a computer chip inserted in someone’s head and edits them into a ‘Rememory’ for the departed’s loved ones. But Alan’s latest job proves to be highly unusual, for among the recorded thoughts of this person is a troubled fragment of a memory from Alan’s own head. What’s going on? You’ll have to wait until September 30 when Lions Gate releases THE FINAL CUT into theaters.
