Another piece of HALLOWEEN casting news: Rob Zombie just revealed via his MySpace page that genre veteran Brad Dourif is a lock to play Sheriff Brackett. This means a lot of screen time with Malcolm McDowell’s Dr. Loomis; now picture that dynamic.
Dourif’s screen credits are too copious to list here, but some highlights include ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST, DUNE, the CHILD’S PLAY series (as the voice of Chucky as well as his human alter ego, Charles Lee Ray), the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy and, most recently, Showtime’s DEADWOOD.
