While premiering the film at a sold-out Sundance crowd last night, which was presented by Quentin Tarantino, Ryan Rotten posed the question to the actor/director.
“I hope this is going to be a trilogy.” Madsen had to say, “The Gent’s story has not been completely told.”
When director Bishop was notified of the actor’s thoughts, he raised his eyebrows, smiled and said “Absolutely”.
Hell Ride is an upcoming action-thriller, which was penned and directed by Bishop and stars Larry Bishop, Michael Madsen, Eric Balfour, Vinnie Jones, Julia Jones, Michael Beach, Leonor Varela, Francesco Quinn and Alison McAtee. Dimension will be releasing the film in theaters sometime in 2008.
Plot Summary: Larry Bishop will star as bad-ass biker Pistolero, who along with his brother The Gent (Michael Madsen) and Comanche (Eric Balfour), hit the road to avenge the death of Pistolero’s old lady Cherokee Kisum (Julia Jones), by the 666ers a rival motorcycle gang.
