‘One Tree Hill’ star, and apparent heart throb so I’m told, Chad Michael Murray (below) has signed up to star in director Tom Elkin’s ghostly sequel ‘The Haunting in Georgia’. This supernatural tale follows the events of 2009’s ‘The Haunting in Connecticut’ which saw Virginia Madsen, Kyle Gallner and Elias Koteas tormented by a strange presence in their new home. Murray will join his young actress co-star Emily Alyn Lind.
The action takes place this around in the rural South of Georgia and the shoot will commence this November in Louisiana from a script penned by David Coggeshall.
“A young couple who, shortly after moving into their ideal new home, grow concerned when their young daughter begins encountering mysterious strangers that no one else can see. The couple’s greatest fear is realized when they themselves begin to witness terrifying phenomena in and around the house, providing clues that could unlock a chilling mystery that has remained a closely guarded secret for generations.”
