ROMERO’S ILL PROMO ART
You might remember a few days back, it was announced, very subtly and without much fanfare, that George A. Romero was beginning work on his next film, the first since 2000’s poorly recieved ‘Bruiser’. Thanks to a Creature Corner friend that used to work very close with Romero’s people, we’ve got some promo art for ‘The Ill’. (Click image for full view).
This ‘friend’ is the former webmaster of GeorgeARomero.com, a site that is sadly no longer. Thankfully it’s master is back in action again, with a brand new site called The Web of Horror which you can check out right here.
One tidbit of info we didn’t report on previously is that ‘The Ill’ is set to start shooting on location in the UK, marking the first time George has moved outside of North America (since ‘Bruiser’ was shot in Toronto) to make a movie. Hopefully we will see Romero moving in a newer direction than what his last few efforts have shown, and there’s nothing bad about that at all.
