Oren Peli, the the man responsible for supernatural spook-fest ‘Paranormal Activity’ and it’s sub-par follow-up, returns to horror with his newly created TV series ‘The River’. The new ABC pilot, Oren penned along with ‘Paranormal Activity 2’ scribe Michael R. Perry and ‘Heroes’ Michael Green, is another ‘shaky-cam’ production that may see ‘Orphan’ director Jaume Collet-Serra helm. The first cast member has been added to the new horror fray and it’s ‘Lone Star’ actress and hottie Eloise Mumford (below). Mumford will play a helicopter pilot searching for a TV exploer.
