Fans of multi-styled rock band Mindless Self Indulgence will be happy to know that frontman Jimmy Euringer (a.k.a Little Jimmy Urine) will be providing some of the soundtrack for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s new video game release ‘Lollipop Chainsaw’. Urine has composed all the music featured in each of the boss battles and will even be voicing the role of Zed, the punk boss! Chainsaw-wielding cheerleader Juliet Starling hacks away through the game that’s described as “a true combination of sex, blood and over-the-top rock n’ roll.” Grasshopper Manufacture developed the game with CEO Suda51 (Goichi Suda) at the creative helm. Even ‘Sliver’ and ‘Super’ filmmaker James Gunn has been involved with the development and is eyeing up a potential feature adaption in the future. The game will be available on the PS3, PC and Xbox 360 and you can check out the games hot piece of zombie and sexy cheerleader artwork below, along with Zed’s Theme composed by Mr Urine.
“Lollipop Chainsaw is the ‘un-deadly’ story of sweet and killer zombie-hunter Juliet Starling and her quest to uncover the root of a colossal zombie outbreak. With her wickedly awesome chainsaw in hand, Juliet slices, dices and splits her way through hordes of the undead, but she soon realizes the horde is only the opening act to a festival of zombie rock lords determined to kill the chainsaw-wielding cheerleader.”
‘Lollipop Chainsaw’ is set to hit both the PS3, PC and Xbox 360 from 24 April 2012.
