We already heard that returning award-winning actress Jessica Lange would be head of the newly located mental institution for the criminally insane in the upcoming second season of FX’s hit horror series ‘American Horror Story’ but what about everybody else? Co-creator Ryan Murphy has been chatting with TV Line where he revealed a few more character-based details that fans of the show will be interested in. As previously reported the majority of stars who are rejoining the 60’s set follow-up will be back to play entirely different characters. And when probed about the possibility of actor Evan Peters (below) now becoming a hero character as opposed to the evil Tate role he played previously Murphy teased “Knowing me it will be the anti-hero…It won’t be what you expect.” Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Lizzie Brochere, Adam Levine, James Cromwell and Chloe Sevigny will all feature in the new season and you can check out more of Murphy’s interview below.
“I don’t want to say what Zach [Quinto] and Lily [Rabe] are doing, or what anybody else is doing, until we get closer to [fall]. But I’ll continue to say that everybody is playing the opposite of what they played last year, which I think is why they’re all so into it. Like, I have talked to Zach and Jessica and they were very excited – and that’s a rare thing.”
