Late last month we bought you the news that ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ scribe partnership Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver had been hired by Universal to work on the new script for the long-awaited sequel ‘Jurrasic Park IV’. This week Collider were speaking with producer Frank Marshall whilst discussing new action sequel ‘The Bourne Legacy’ and let slip that ‘Jurrasic Park IV’ would be on our screens within two years! Marshall also revealed that it would be getting a Summer release and will most definitely be a sequel to Joe Johnston’s 2001 installment ‘Jurassic Park III’ and not a dreaded remake, reboot, redo or reimagining. Kathleen Kennedy and director Steven Spielberg, who helmed the first two movies in the franchise, will be on board to produce. Writers Jaffa and Silver are also working on a follow-up script to ‘Rise’ called ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’.
