‘The Innkeepers’ helmer Ti West is teaming up with none other than Eli Roth (‘Cabin Fever’, ‘Hostel’) on what is being touted as Ti’s first ‘mainstream’ horror effort. ‘The Sacrament’ is already being lined up for a shoot commencement in Georgia at the end of this month and with practically next to nothing even known currently about the plot itself all we do know is that the project will be another that Roth will be involved with. At least in a producing and presenting capacity. “We want to make this Ti’s first mainstream movie, without sacrificing the quality and unflinching horror of the subject matter,” said Roth. Worldview Entertainment will be funding the project and co-produce along with Roth. Hopefully we’ll have more on this later this month. West also provided one of the horrific segments from the newly released, and quite brilliant, ‘V/H/S’.
