Late last August we discovered that ‘Saw IV’ scribe Tom Fenton would be working on a script for a follow-up to Steven R. Monroe’s 2010 remake of brutal horror flick ‘I Spit on Your Grave’. And now that its all official and Monroe is back once again to helm the sequel the picture is readying itself to make an appearance at the AFM. But with its not-so-nifty new title, ‘I Spit on Your Grave Too’. Yikes! A new synopsis has also come along which you can check out below and appears to heavily mirror the events of the first movie albeit relocating this time around to New York. No word yet on a cast.
“Naturally beautiful, Jessica has just settled into New York where she, like many other young women, is trying to make it as a model. But what starts out as an innocent and simple photo shoot soon turns into something disturbingly unthinkable! Raped, tortured and kidnapped to a foreign country, Jessica is buried alive and left to die. Against all odds, she manages to escape. Severely injured, she will have to tap into the darkest places of the human psyche to not only survive, but to exact her revenge.”
