EXPERIMENT IN TERROR REMAKE
A remake of Columbia Pictures’ 1962 thriller Experiment in Terror is in the works, says the film’s director Blake Edwards.
In the original, Kelly Sherwood (Lee Remick) is terrorized by a man with an asthmatic voice who plans to use her to steal $100,00 from the bank where she works. He threatens to kill her teenage sister Toby, if she tells the police, but she manages to contact F.B.I. agent Ripley (Glenn Ford).
Edwards was recently honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Mystery Writers of America with his wife, Julie Andrews, at his side. He is known for directing many memorable films such as Breakfast at Tiffanys, The Great Race and The Pink Panther series.
