CUTHBERT TO JOIN WAX
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Elisha Cuthbert is in final talks to join Chad Michael Murray in the cast of Dark Castle/Warner Bros.’ HOUSE OF WAX. The in-name-only remake, which rolls soon in Australia under Jaume Collet-Serra’s direction, focuses on a group of young people threatened by a maniac in a remote town who wants to turn them into attractions at his creepy wax museum. Cuthbert plays Kiefer Sutherland’s daughter on the award-winning Fox series ’24’ and stars in the March 12 release THE GIRL NEXT DOOR in the title role, the crush object of a neighbor boy who turns out to be a former porn star. WAX is currently slated to open October 22.
