MANGLER REBORN IN 2005?!
Good or bad news?, hard to tell. ‘Mangler 3,’ which is tentatively titled The Mangler Reborn is a coming! Read on for the full story…

‘Tentatively called The Mangler Reborn, the film will tell the tale of a man and his machine (again) – one he creates, obsesses over and is ultimately possessed by. And, naturally, it’s a machine he has to feed by killing lots of folks. Yippee! Matt Cunningham and Erik Gardner are penning the script with the intention of directing the film for Barnholtz Entertainment. Cunningham tells us that they are ‘going back more toward the concept of the original Stephen King short story with a few little twists in there. It’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre meets a J-Horror film. Real dark and gritty.’
If everything runs smoothly expect to see The Mangler Reborn in late ’05. Scott Pearlman is producing with Lions Gate likely to distribute. Oh, and the pic you see above is some real early concept art of the actual machine, a rough design by Jason Schulman for the film’s FX artist to work from.’
