UK GETTING 3-D AMITYVILLE
It must be the anticipation for the AMITYVILLE HORROR remake that began shooting this week, but DVD Answers just announced that Britain’s Sanctuary Visual Entertainment will release Region 2 discs of AMITYVILLE II: THE POSSESSION and AMITYVILLE III: THE DEMON September 27. And it’s hard to say why they’re using that title for the latter film rather than the original AMITYVILLE 3-D, since that disc will include a dimensional version (along with one in 2-D) with two pairs of 3-D glasses enclosed! Both movies will be presented in widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround and 2.0 stereo tracks; extras will include:

An extended ‘Lost Souls’ scene
Rare stills and publicity shots
