No, it might look like a teaser poster for ‘The Iron Giant 2’ but it is in fact a newly released one-sheet for Guillermo del Toro’s sci-fi battle feature ‘Pacific Rim’. The teaser is a new piece of artwork revealed to promote its panel appearance at this years upcoming Comic-Con festival being held in San Diego. ‘Pacific Rim’ stars Charlie Hunnam (‘Sons of Anarchy’), Ron Perlman (‘Season of the Witch’), Rinko Kikuchi (‘Assault Girls’), Idris Elba (‘The Wire’), Charlie Day (‘Horrible Bosses’), Robert Kazinsky (‘Eastenders’), Clifton Collins Jr and Max Martini. “Legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, start rising from the sea and begin a war that would takes millions of lives and consumes humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju.
