B-D have been informed that Christa Campbell (The Wicker Man, 2001 Maniacs) will be joining Ving Rhames, Mena Suvari, Michael Welch, Annalynne McCord, Stark Sands and Nick Cannon in Millennium Films’ remake of George A . Romero’s Day of the Dead, and will also be returning as the stunningly beautiful Milk Maiden in Tim Sullivan’s 2002 Maniacs. No word yet on an official start date for 2002, but the Day of the Dead remake begins shooting at the end of this month.
The original Day follows a group of scientists and military personnel holed up in an underground bunker because the world above is overrun with zombies. The lumbering flesheaters eventually find a way in and wreak havoc on the scientists who’ve been experimenting on their undead brethren…
