Horror Legend Hart D. Fisher Acquires Iconic Roku Channel B-Movie TV

Hart D. Fisher, the trailblazing creator behind the American Horrors film legacy and television network, has officially announced the acquisition of B-Movie TV, the long-running 24/7 linear streaming destination for cult cinema on the Roku platform. Fisher takes the helm from founder Ken “Ace” Brewer, ensuring the survival of one of the longest-operating independent channels in the streaming era.

For over 13 years, B-Movie TV has served as a digital sanctuary for fans of “trash” cinema, exploitation films, and obscure low-budget gems. The channel is renowned for its unique curation, blending full-length features with retro “racy” commercials, trailers, and interstitial content that recreates the atmosphere of a late-night drive-in or a Night Flight broadcast.

“I’ve been a fan of B-Movie TV since its launch and I’ve been friends with Ken ‘Ace’ Brewer for years,” said Hart D. Fisher. “When Ken decided to close up shop to focus on his feature directing career, I knew I couldn’t let this awesome channel disappear. Ken has been training me on his ‘Secret Sauce’ recipe so I can continue the channel exactly the way he did. We’re keeping the grindhouse popcorn flavor flowing!”

Under Fisher’s leadership, B-Movie TV will maintain its signature programming schedule, with movies beginning on even hours to provide a predictable viewing experience for its loyal fanbase. The lineup will continue to feature a “no holds barred” mix of:

    Classic Horror & Sci-Fi
    Martial Arts & Action
    Exploitation & Grindhouse Classics
    “Skinemax” style late-night features
    Retro Cartoons and Music Videos

Ken “Ace” Brewer, who built the channel under the Livid Media banner, transitions away from daily operations to focus on his burgeoning career as an indie horror director and producer. “As indie channel owners, we used to compare notes and help each other out,” Fisher noted of their long-standing professional bond.

The acquisition brings B-Movie TV into the orbit of Fisher’s American Horrors, the 24/7 linear streaming horror culture network launched in 2011. Fisher’s storied career includes the 2008 American Horrors TV series (which featured a young Billie Eilish in the opening credits) and a legendary line of original feature films.

    Availability

B-Movie TV remains a free, ad-supported channel. Viewers can add the channel by searching for “B-Movie TV” directly in the Roku Channel Store. Related services, including the B-Zone and a dedicated Video-On-Demand (VOD) version, also remain available for viewers seeking specific titles.
