We posted the new one-sheet for Mischa Barton’s new horror ‘Homecoming’ recently here at the Horror Asylum and no sooner had we done that than a couple of stills were released from the new pic (which you can check out below), both showing the sexy Miss Barton in her role as Shelby the psycho! Morgan J. Freeman helmed the project and is currently at work on his new horror flick ‘The Cold’ about a group of friends who head into the wilderness for their annual hunting trip only to confront their war torn past and a devilish secret.
Anyway, back to ‘Homecoming’ – what’s is all about I hear you cry?
“Mike is a small-town star athlete who is the first in his family to attend college, receiving a football scholarship to prestigious Northwestern University. When he returns home over Christmas break to the people he left behind – his family and friends – they are all surprised to see him with a new girlfriend, Elizabeth, a pretty rich girl from Chicago. No one is more shocked than Mike’s homecoming queen ex-girlfriend, Shelby, who immediately wants to be rid of Elizabeth and plots to take care of the problem. The story then takes many twists and turns as Shelby does everything it takes to get Mike back.”
Joining Mischa on ‘Homecoming’ is Jessica Stroup and Matt Long who play Elizabeth and Mike respectively (of course!). The movie is supposed to be getting a very limited release stateside on July 17th.
