Shooting is about to kick off over in Berlin on the Oscar-nominated director Marjane Satrapi’s new psychological thriller ‘The Voices’. Ryan Reynolds plays Jerry the schizo factory worker who accidentally kills a colleague and then begins taking ‘advice’ from his cat and dog, whom just happen to be able to speak to him. Now that’s a bizarre setup but with Reynolds in the lead and now two very talented hotties jumping on board this has to be one of the more curious projects in the works. Both Gemma Arterton (‘Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters’) and ‘Up in the Air’ star Anna Kendrick (‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1’) have joined the cast and no doubt hotting up the celluloid. Reynolds can be seen on screen this coming Summer in Universal’s upcoming action horror adaptation ‘R.I.P.D.’. Satrapi helms ‘The Voices’ from a script penned by ‘The River’ scribe Michael R. Perry (‘Paranormal Activity 2’).
“THE VOICES focuses on Jerry, a schizophrenic worker at a bathtub factory, who accidentally kills an attractive woman from accounting. While trying to cover his bloody tracks, Jerry starts taking advice from his “talking” sinister cat and benevolent dog.”
