Here’s a quick rundown of the specifics…
You are required to pick 11 players (2 Goalkeepers, 3 Defenders, 4 Midfielders and 2 Forwards) from the full list of participating players below. There are no budgetary restrictions and all selections are final.
Players score points for goals scored and assists. Goalkeepers and defenders can earn points for clean sheets, but lose points for goals conceded. There are also points available for the Man of the Match, but players will lose points if they get booked or sent off and the points are worth double in the knockout stages.
You will be provided with login information upon signing up so you are able to login and view your team details and keep an eye on your points progression throughout the tournament.
The entry fee is a one-off payment of £14.99 and the prizes up for grabs are…an Apple iPod Touch 8GB, a Nintendo Wii Console (Black) with Wii Sports + Wii Sports Resort and Motion Plus Controller, a Samsung ES15 Digital Camera – Black (10MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.5 inch LCD, The Ultimate Hammer Collection (21 Disc Box Set) [Region 2 DVD] and Mario Kart with Wii Wheel…amongst other great horror DVD runner-up prizes. The full prize package will be awarded to the overall winner. 3 runners-up will each receive a selection of horror DVDs and Blu-Rays.
